Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Transverb (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under it. Keep your information accurate and up to date.
4. License & Restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal or internal business communications. You will not: (a) reverse engineer or decompile the Service; (b) misuse or overload the Service; (c) circumvent security; (d) use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or infringing activity.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of messages, media, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You grant us a limited license to process User Content as necessary to operate and improve the Service (e.g., transmit, store, and translate messages) consistent with our Privacy Policy.
6. Prohibited Conduct
- Harassment, hate, threats, or illegal content.
- Spam, scams, or unauthorized advertising.
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service, or accessing it via automated means without permission.
- Infringing third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
7. Subscriptions & Payments
Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase via the relevant app marketplace. Prices and billing terms are presented at the point of purchase by the marketplace provider. Taxes may apply. Marketplace terms (e.g., Apple Media Services Terms) govern transactions and refunds.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., analytics, crash reporting, translation infrastructure). We are not responsible for third-party services and disclaim liability arising from their use.
9. Intellectual Property
Transverb and all associated trademarks, logos, and software are owned by their respective rights holders. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or that translations are perfectly accurate.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Service and its affiliates from claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for any reason, including if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends.
14. Governing Law; Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflicts of laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of state and federal courts located in New York County, New York, for any dispute not subject to arbitration.
15. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, the parties may pursue permissible claims in court or through another mutually agreed process.
16. Changes to the Service & Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or website and are effective when posted unless stated otherwise. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
